Advantech's Mobile Data Terminal solution provides trusted location-based services to all fleet management applications, making it far more efficient for fleet owners to manage fleet dispatching and fleet tracking of their mobile resources. Advantech's VITA family offers a 16-channel GPS engine, GSM/GPRS module, RS-232 port, and digital I/O ports to allow GPS location tracking, wireless data transmission, and remote sensing and alarm notification. The utility software provides the tools needed to integrate VITA’s process and GPS data into GIS (Geographical Information System) programs.
